Come Tend the Soil of My Heart
VISUAL MERCHANDISING | CREATIVE DIRECTION
Reflection
I love seeing hints of green break through the soil after a long winter. They bring quiet reminders of hope and renewal. The Lord often feels closest to me in these moments, gently reminding me of His desire to rend the soil of my heart as well. Planning and bring this spring window display to life was a labor of love filled with intention and collaboration.
The Process
-
Inspired by early spring and the quiet work of renewal, this window display was rooted in the imagery of tending soil. Both in the garden and within the heart. The theme was developed collaboratively and then I led the preparation making sure each element felt intentional, layered and aligned.
-
From planning to installation, I oversaw the execution of the display. Attention was given to texture, scale and height, ensuring the window felt grounded and inviting. Elements such as open packets of seeds and soil gently spilling from pots were styled to evoke the feeling of stepping into the start of a spring garden full of possibility.
-
Marketing visuals were created with consistency in mind, extending the gardening theme beyond the storefront window and into visual merchandising and our digital marketing efforts. I captured product photography styled with botanicals, soft linens, and subtle gold accents.
